If you are in the Grindelwald area in summer, this lake is a Must-Visit. Its also perfect to combine with some other activities at Grindelwald first, such as the Cliff walk. Check the Cliff walk post for details. How to get there: Take the cable car from Grindelwald up to Grindelwald First. From there its now a more or less 1 hour hike one way until you reach the Lake Bachalp. Its a fairly easy hike, thats why its so busy. I can see why though, its stunning. Bring your own food and drinks, there is no possibilites of buying something at the lake. Price: Its 64chf return with no reduction and 32chf with the half fare/swiss travel pass. Think, that you have more experiences inlcuded such as the Cliff Walk. Tip: You should try and take a dip inside the lake. Its cold but worth it.
