An expensive but historical train ride with an epic hike. This is the combo of the Brienzer Rothorn Experience. How to get there: Take the train from Brienz up to Brienzer Rothorn. Take the hike to Planalp for 2.5 hours and take the train back down to Brienz. Its also possible the other way around if you prefer to go down instead of up. Price: The hiking ticket is 75chf or 39chf with the half fare/swiss travel pass. This is the one, if you go for the recommendedd hike. If you dont plan the full hike and only wanna go up and down the prices are 94chf for a return trip on a regular base and 47chf with the half fare/swiss travel pass.
