Small alpine lake famous for its deep blue water (yes it's as blue as in the pictures) and forest setting. Short walking paths around the lake, trout farm, and a glass-bottom boat ride included in the ticket.

How to get there
🚆 Train to Frutigen or Kandersteg, then bus 230 to “Blausee BE.”
🚗 Paid parking next to entrance.

Tips

• Best early morning or late afternoon for fewer people. It can get VERY crowded otherwise.

• Beautiful year-round, especially in autumn or after fresh snow.

• Best to combine with a visit to Oeschinensee, I think it's not worth it to come just for this lake if you don't combine it with Oeschinensee.
