If you’re driving the Road to Hana as a day trip, you’ll likely be busy hitting all the waterfalls, black and red sand beaches, etc. But if you have extra time in Hana, this is by far the best beach in the area. 

It’s great for sunbathing and swimming when the water is calm, but it often has strong currents and a heavy shorebreak so be cautious and avoid going in on big-surf days. 

Parking is limited at the top and you’ll need to pack everything in and out.
