This is the public parking lot for Makawao town. It’s not something you’d know is there if you’re not looking for it and it’s not marked very well. It’s off Brewer Road behind the intersection of Makawao Ave and Baldwin Ave. If you’re coming into Makawao from the highway, stay on Makawao Ave through the main intersection (at Baldwin Ave) and take the first left on Brewer Rd and turn left into the parking lot. You’ll climb a pretty big staircase to get from the parking lot up to the street.
