This distillery (they do gin and rum in addition to vodka) has the best views on Maui. 

You can tour the distillery and do a tasting, or just show up for drinks and food on the lawn. 

You don’t need reservations, but booking in advance is recommended if you’re in a group or want the full guided experience. Also I would check their hours because occasionally they do close for private events. 

They also have a small gift shop where you can pick up bottles, branded merchandise, or locally made snacks.

Come for sunset, or late afternoon before you make the drive up to Haleakala for sunset (drive responsibly!)
