The Cistern of Theodosius, located beneath Istanbul, Turkey, was built by Roman Emperor Theodosius II between 428 and 443 to store water from the Valens Aqueduct. This ancient cistern, with its impressive architecture featuring marble columns and sail vaults, was rediscovered in 2010 after being hidden for years under a private estate. Now open to the public, visitors can experience a unique museum setting with a 360-degree projection mapping system. It's like stepping back in time while exploring this cool underground spot!
