Reynisfjara is an Icelandic beach situated on the South Coast 180 kilometers away from Reykjavik. It's infamous for its black sand, incredible rocky sea stacks known as Reynisdrangar, roaring Atlantic waves and stunning panoramas. It is an immensely popular tourist spot due to the captivating stories and legends that surround it, such as trolls turned into stone because of the sun's rays or a man who froze two trolls who kidnapped and killed his wife. Be sure to visit this remarkable location to see the amazing puffins, fulmars and guillemots nesting on the cliffs or absorb the beautiful sights that surround you. With its fairytale-like atmosphere and breathtaking views, Reynisfjara is definitely worth a stop during your drive around Iceland.
