Villa Adriana is a sprawling UNESCO World Heritage Site located near Tivoli, Italy. Built in the second and third centuries AD by Roman Emperor Hadrian, it is renowned for its impressive architectural structures and unparalleled symmetry of its plans. The complex contains over 30 monumental and scenic buildings arranged in multiple levels. Highlights include the recreation area known as Canopus, with its traditional Greek and innovative Roman elements, the Maritime Theater with its lounge, library, heated baths, suites, art gallery and central fountain, and the Grand Thermae with their domes and circular holes. Beyond its visual beauty, Villa Adriana's grandeur is a captivating testament to the power and influence of Hadrian and the Roman Empire.
