Cortona is a small Italian village in the Tuscan region that promises an unforgettable experience. Set among rolling hills, this charming destination has been around since the 5th century B.C. when it was an important Etruscan centre. Visitors will find plenty of historic architecture, interesting museums, and unique religious sites to explore. One of Cortona's highlights is its unmissable Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, a 1456 construction that gives this old town a feeling of grandeur. Art lovers should head to the MAEC - Museo dell'Accademia Etrusca e della Città di Cortona, while nature enthusiasts can go for strolls on the Via Romea - a 24km road that runs near the city. With beautiful landscapes, impressive cultural attractions, and typical Tuscan cuisine, Cortona is sure to be a memorable destination and will leave visitors wanting to come back again and again.

Cortona is also great to do some local shopping as on the main street it has so many cute shops!
