Directly from Piazza Duomo, on the left, you can access the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, another of the symbolic places of the city. It is a cross-shaped gallery that leads directly to Piazza della Scala, full of bars, restaurants, shops and with one more curiosity.

When you are in the center of the Gallery, you will notice a mosaic under your feet depicting a bull. Several people stop at this point to perform a superstitious ritual: point the heel at the bull and do 3 turns on themselves. Why not do it too, perhaps immortalized by a photo shoot or a creative video?

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a great place to experience Italian design and culture. Built in the center of Milan, it houses some of the oldest shops and restaurants in the city, as well as luxury retailers, cafés, bars, and a hotel. It features a huge iron-and-glass roof that gives it an ethereal look. Inside, one can find four mosaics depicting the coats of arms of the main Italian cities, plus Milan's coat of arms. Legend has it that if you stand on the testicles of the bull from Turin's coat of arms, you'll get good luck! Visiting Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a must-see when visiting Milan.
