Hands down, One of our favourite stays in Twizel. Tucked between towering mountains and open skies, Ruataniwha Hut is a stylish little escape made for adventurers who love their comforts too. đŸĄâ›°ïž Set within the Aoraki/Mackenzie Dark Sky Reserve, it’s the kind of place where you can hike all day, then kick back under a million stars. 🌌 Just a short drive from Twizel, Tekapo, and Aoraki/Mount Cook, it's perfectly placed for exploring, but remote enough that you’ll feel like you’ve got the landscape all to yourself.

Inside, it’s smart, cozy, and simple, a modern spin on New Zealand’s classic backcountry huts. An open-plan layout keeps things relaxed, with snug sleeping spots and everything you need to cook, chill, and recharge before your next big day out.
