Fairlie Bakehouse, located in the charming town of Fairlie, South Canterbury, New Zealand, is a renowned bakery celebrated for its exceptional handmade pies and delectable baked goods. Established in 2010 by Austrian-born chef Franz Lieber, the bakery has become a must-visit destination for both locals and travelers passing through the region. At its peak, Fairlie Bakehouse produces around 2,500 pies daily, utilising approximately six tonnes of pork each month .
