Cinema Paradiso is a cosy, iconic little theatre in Wānaka and an absolute must do if you're spending time in town. With comfy couches, a few old cars for seats, and freshly baked cookies at intermission, it’s a charming and nostalgic cinema experience you won’t forget. They play a great mix of mainstream and indie films, and the laid back, homely atmosphere makes it feel more like watching a movie at a mate’s house than a regular cinema. Get there early to grab a good spot and definitely don’t skip the cookies!
