Better Batter is a little food truck on the shore of Lake Tekapo, they are extremely popular so the wait time for food is usually 45 minutes to an hour, so order early! The food here is delicious, our favourite was the mushroom as it is something you don't usually see at fish and chips, it wasn't overly oily like you tent to expect! We tried basically everything on the menu and was really happy with the meal!

The opening hours are Mon-Wed & Fri, Sat from 1pm - 6pm (I do feel like sometimes i have seen them open earlier than this so just keep an eye out, you might get lucky).
