Kinloch Wilderness Retreat

This place is seriously something special. We stumbled across Kinloch on a little drive and instantly fell in love with how peaceful it is, tucked right at the head of the lake with those crazy views back toward Glenorchy. We wandered up to the café and grabbed a brownie, and honestly… one of the best we’ve had. It tasted like proper, high-quality ingredients and everything felt so homely. The staff were so warm and lovely too, which just added to the whole experience.

Kinloch has this cosy feel — a mix of wilderness, lakefront quiet, and that old historic lodge charm. We would absolutely love to come back one day and actually stay, slow down, and soak it all in properly.
