The Church of the Good Shepherd is a picturesque stone church located on the shores of Lake Tekapo in New Zealand's Mackenzie District. Built in 1935, it stands as a memorial to the pioneers of the Mackenzie Country and is renowned for its stunning backdrop of the lake and surrounding mountains. The church is a popular spot for photography, especially at sunrise and sunset, and is situated near the Sheepdog Statue, which honours the working dogs of the region.
