On a steep rock, high above the right bank of the Lesse, before it flows into the Meuse, stands the castle of Walzin. This neo-Gothic castl is located in Dréhance, now a borough of Dinant, in the province of Namur. Even more than the architecture, it is above all the natural environment of the castle that remains truly exceptional. During a canoe trip on the Lesse you can really see how high the rocks really are! Unfortunately, the castle is not accessible to tourists so you will have to make do with the beautiful view from the outside!
