Fall Creek Falls State Park is one of Tennessee's largest and most visited state parks. The waterfall is the main attraction but there are many areas to explore.
There are two ways to get to this trail: you can take the 3.1 mile trail to see the base of this waterfall, Cane Creek Falls Overlook, Cane Creek Cascades, and the fun suspension bridge that crosses the cascades.
You can also park much closer to the falls and make your hike only .8 miles round trip: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/tennessee/fall-creek-and-coon-creek-falls-via-base-of-the-falls-trail
The hike down is not super difficult but there are a bunch of stone stairs that you will need to do. If you do the .8 mile hike, you will park at the overlook of the falls which is very accessible for people who can't do the hike down.
