Zpráva od Olivia

The International Monument to the Reformation, commonly known as the Reformation Wall, located in Geneva, Switzerland is a breathtaking sight that invites visitors to explore its many statues and bas-reliefs. The wall was created by French sculptor Paul Landowski and several other architect graduates in 1909 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of John Calvin's birth and the 350th anniversary of the University of Geneva's establishment.

Landowski and his team depicting numerous Protestant figures did an especially beautiful job creating four five-meter tall statues at the center of the monument honoring William Farel, John Calvin, Theodore Beza and John Knox; it also contains statues of Frederick William of Brandenburg, William the Silent, Gaspard de Coligny, Roger Williams, Oliver Cromwell, and Stephan Bocskai.

This is right at the Parc des Bastions so you can combine it with a visit to the park and lunch at the Kiosque de Bastions!
