The valley you drive through up to Lac de Moiry is something else! As soon as you have reached the dam, you already feel the cold breeze coming down from the glacier. After you have reached the end of the dammed lake, there soon is a parking lot. From there on, we suggest you hiking up the hill that is blocking the sight on the whole glacier. From there you have the best view on the glacier (only if you hike much further, it gets even better).
