If you care about proper Neapolitan pizza, this is a place you don’t skip! Villa Severino is, in my opinion, the best Neapolitan pizza in Finland, and I’ve tried a lot of places over the years. Because I'm a pizza lover!
The restaurant traces back to its original location at Helsinki Outlet Village, and the standard has stayed consistently high. The owner brings a clear passion for authentic Neapolitan pizza, focusing on traditional methods, quality ingredients, and getting the details right, from the dough to the balance of flavors.
The Kamppi location adds another layer to the experience. You get open views over the city, with Helsinki Cathedral visible in the distance, which makes it an easy place to slow down and enjoy the meal with nice views. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor, and the easiest way to reach it is by heading into the Kamppi shopping center main entrance and taking the escalators or elevator up.
Prices are on the higher side compared to most pizza spots in Finland, but this is one of those places where it genuinely feels justified. Opening hours are typically from late morning into the evening (around 11–21), often slightly later on weekends, so it works well for both lunch and dinner. If you’re looking for the closest thing to Naples in Helsinki, this is it. 🍕
