Korouoma Nature Reserve provides a variety of opportunities for hiking, nature observation, admiring the views, and discovering how nature was used throughout history. The area is peppered with numerous ponds, lakes, and small rivers. It is easy to walk on the pine-dominated heaths. In winter, you can go snowshoeing in the canyon. Korouoma is also the best destination in Finland in wintertime for ice climbing enthusiasts.

If you're up for an adventure, head on the Korouoma Hiking Trail, a 20 kilometer long hiking trail which runs through the majestic landscape of the Korouoma Canyon with its cliffs and eskers.
