Kolmen Sepän Patsas, or the Three Smiths Statue, is one of those classic Helsinki landmarks that locals often use as a meeting spot. You’ll find it right in the middle of the busy city center, at the corner of Aleksanterinkatu and Mannerheimintie, where shoppers, students, and commuters all cross paths.

The bronze sculpture, created by Felix Nylund in the 1930s, shows three muscular blacksmiths at work, symbolizing teamwork and the spirit of the people. I love how the statue has become part of everyday city life – especially in winter when locals dress the smiths up in scarves and beanies to keep them warm!

Good to know: If you’re shopping at Stockmann or exploring central Helsinki, you’ll likely pass by here naturally. It’s also a great spot for people-watching or snapping a photo that captures a slice of Helsinki’s urban energy.
