Just off the northern coast of Åland, Silverskär offers something truly unique: your own island, fully reserved for your group. Whether it's a company retreat, a family gathering, or a quiet celebration, this is a place where time slows down and the sea is always near.

There are four different islands to choose from — each with its own vibe. The main island, Silverskär, has beautifully restored buildings, cozy rooms, wood-fired saunas, and a top-quality restaurant that serves seasonal meals made from local ingredients, often grown right on the island. Dinner here is an experience in itself.

Klobben gives you the rustic charm of a traditional fishing village with red wooden cabins built right on the rocks — perfect for stormy weather and sunsets. Sviskär is wild and simple, with no electricity and a strong sense of peace. And Champagne Island? A small islet for two — ideal for couples who want something unforgettable.

Silverskär is more than just a place to stay. It’s also about experiences: go kayaking, try your hand at axe throwing, pick herbs in the garden with the chef, or enjoy a storytelling session by the fire. The staff helps tailor the experience based on your group’s wishes.

Getting there

The islands are just a 30-minute drive from Mariehamn, followed by a short boat ride. Everything is arranged for you.
