Waterfall

The Waterfalls on the Alaskan/Canadian border are a stunning sight visible right from pullout. It's located off of the South Klondike near the Fraser Boarder. The falls are a series of cascading waterfalls that up into the mountains that you can continue to hike up as far as you'd like. The falls are surrounded by the lush green alpine and snow-capped mountains, making it a beautiful and peaceful spot to visit.

While its a short distance it's not the "easiest" place to get to for everyone as you need to descend a pretty steep rocky section with an anchored rope and cross a cold creek to get to the falls which can be knee deep or higher depending on the snow melt. It's all very worth it but you should definitely know your limits before committing to it. You can go to just the first set of falls or continue on the 8km hike.

Directions: Following the trail right from the parking lot, there isn't a sign but its pretty defined. It's drops quickly and there's a set of ropes to help you down as it's steep and on slippery the rocks. It will drop down right to a creek that you have to cross. It's nice to bring water shoes like crocs for this part. The crossing is short but cold and depending on the time of year it can get deep. Luckily the current is very strong.

Once you cross I would keep your water shoes on for a bit because there are some more smaller creek crossing as you continue across the valley to the waterfall. There's a pretty distinct trail on the right side of the waterfall that will taking you in the alpine forest and to a lookout of the waterfall. You can continue up this trail to see more waterfalls or turn back.
