The Tatshenshini River Day Trip with Tatshenshini Expediting is one of the most authentic Yukon experiences available. It's one of my favourite Yukon activities! The river runs through beautiful rugged terrain with exhilarating whitewater ranging from class 2 to class 3. The day trip is very family friendly and the guides come with a lot of experience and can accommodate ages 5+. The total trip length is approximately 4 hours with a lunch break on the rivers edge. This is a great way to explore the wilderness and get an adrenaline rush!

There is plenty of opportunity to swim in the glacial waters and view iconic Yukon wildlife. The Tatshenshini River is an important migration route for spawning salmon which attracts Grizzly bears and Bald Eagles.

After arriving at the take out, a bus will take you back to where you started at TAT Camp.

I highly recommend spending the night at Million Dollars Falls (included on the map) as it is the closest campground. I'm always exhausted after a full day on the Tatshenshini and having the opportunity to kick back at million Dollar Falls Campground is a great way to unwind after the day.
