In 2021, the Romsdal Gondola opened in Åndalsnes. This is a good alternative if you want to enjoy the beautiful view in Åndalsnes, but do not have time to go for a hike. The trip is a bit expensive, but you really get a fantastic view at the top. It is also possible to go down to the ramp from the top. The gondola is located in the center of Åndalsnes.
