Café Bryggjan in Grindavik is a must-see restaurant for visitors to Iceland. Its cozy nautical interior design and old photographs on the walls give it a romantic, sea-side atmosphere that makes guests feel right at home. Prices are reasonable and the quality of dishes excellent. Be sure to try their famous langoustine soup, or their selection of open sandwiches, fish and chips, and Icelandic hot dogs. I am a fan of the saltfish, personally! At the bar, guests can treat themselves to a variety of beers and wines, with a special recommendation of the popular Icelandic Gull beer. Sweet tooths will adore their selection of cakes and pastries!
