The Slateford Aqueduct is a cool bridge that carries the Union Canal over the Water of Leith in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was finished in 1822 and has eight arches, spanning 500 feet long and standing 75 feet high. Designed by Hugh Baird with help from Thomas Telford, it's like a mini version of Telford's Chirk Aqueduct. The aqueduct is all fancy with its iron trough and hollow spandrels, making it a unique sight to see while strolling along the towpath. So, if you're ever in Edinburgh, don't forget to check out this awesome piece of engineering history!
