If you’re looking for a scenic hike near Picton, Marlborough, the Snout Track is it!! Mathew and I were in Picton in early 2024 and just about to head to our campsite early for a chilled night when we saw a signpost for the Snout Track Loop. Boy, am I pleased we did it. This trail is packed to the brim with stunning views over Queen Charlotte Sound (without the multi-day effort of hiking the Queen Charlotte Track!)

Personal tip: Pack a picnic to have at the top of the Snout Track and soak in the views before heading back
