Instead of driving all the way down to Kúrdalsvegur, stop at the first parking area where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the houses, Hóyvikshólmur, and Nólsoy Island.

This spot is accessible year-round, but my favorite time to visit is in the spring (April and May) when the lambs are born.
