The Similan Islands is an archipelago of 1 islands. They are so stunning; you don't even need to be an excellent photographer to come back with amazing photos. Most people go there on a day trip tour, but the best way to enjoy the Similan islands is to stay for two days. This way, you'll have some fabulous beaches almost for yourself in the morning and the evening. You can either rent a tent (570 THB) or a small aircon cottage (2000 THB). You'll need to contact the national park to book well in advance. Please don't fly your drone here (even on the smaller islands) as it is a national park controlled by military. They stopped me and I had to pay 1000 THB fine.
