Description: Reykjavík is the capital city of Iceland and where most trips begin. It is small but full of life, with colorful houses, street art, and cozy cafés. You can visit the famous Hallgrímskirkja church, walk to the Sun Voyager sculpture, explore museums, or relax in geothermal swimming pools. Reykjavík also has a lively nightlife with bars and music venues. It is the best base for tours such as the Golden Circle, whale watching, and Northern Lights trips.

Price: Food and drinks are more expensive compared to many countries. A coffee is around $5 USD, and a meal at a restaurant can be $20–40 USD per person. Most museums and attractions cost $10–25 USD, while guided tours from Reykjavík start from $70–120 USD.
