Tindaya Mountain is considered Fuerteventura's most important natural monument. The mountain was a sacred place for the Majos, the aboriginal people of Fuerteventura. There are 300 rock carvings on the mountain. It is 400 meters high and on a clear day you can see the highest points in Tenerife and Gran Canaria. From the Mirador de Vallebrón you can enjoy incredible views of the mountain.
