It is a beautiful fishing town . Ajuy is a short distance from Betancuria, but again the roads are pretty scary. I really like Ajuy and these are the best things to do:

• Explore the caves that, according to legends, were where pirates hid their loot. To get there, you have to take a walk along the cliffs , which are breathtakingly beautiful.

• Relax on the black sand beach and enjoy the sound of the crashing waves.

• Enjoy fresh seafood at some of the best seafood restaurants available

Its magnificent black sand beach is also known as the “beach of the dead.”

-First because the currents on the beach often sweep away everything that falls into the sea (including bodies).

-Because it is said that pirates have always used the caves to hide their loot, killing and looting everything in their path.

🇮🇹 E' una splendida cittadina di pescatori . Ajuy è a breve distanza da Betancuria, ma ancora una volta le strade sono piuttosto spaventose. Mi piace molto Ajuy e queste sono le cose migliori da fare:

• Esplora le grotte che, secondo le leggende, erano il luogo in cui i pirati nascondevano i loro bottini. Per arrivarci, devi fare una passeggiata lungo le scogliere , che sono di una bellezza mozzafiato.

• Rilassati al tramonto sulla spiaggia di sabbia nera goditi il suono delle onde che si infrangono.

• Gusta pesce fresco in alcuni dei migliori ristoranti di pesce disponibile.

La sua magnifica spiaggia di sabbia nera è conosciuta anche come la “spiaggia dei morti”:

-Innanzitutto perché le correnti presenti sulla spiaggia spesso trascinano via tutto ciò che cade in mare (corpi compresi).

-Perché si dice che i pirati utilizzino da sempre le grotte per nascondere il loro bottino, uccidendo e saccheggiando tutto ciò che incontrano sul loro cammino.
