One of the most impressive gardens on the island, filled with tropical plants, koi ponds, waterfalls, and art collections. It is much bigger than it looks, so expect to walk quite a bit.

There are beautiful viewpoints over Funchal throughout the garden, plus small museums and tiled displays that add a cultural touch.

Take your time here and wear comfortable shoes, it is easy to spend a few hours exploring.
