This waterfall is the highlight of the Levada do Alecrim trail, a quieter alternative to the nearby Rabaçal hikes.

The path is relatively easy and follows a peaceful levada through greenery, ending at a small waterfall and lagoon area. Some people continue further to Lagoa do Vento for a bigger waterfall.

It is a good option if you want something less crowded but still very scenic.
