One of the most dramatic viewpoints on the island, located on the eastern tip at Ponta de São Lourenço. You get ocean views on both sides with sharp cliffs and a raw landscape.

It is an easy stop with a short walk from the parking area. The setting feels very different from the rest of Madeira, more dry and rugged.

Sunrise here is especially good if you want softer light and fewer people.
