Probably the most well known and iconic spot in the Canadian Rockies...
Welcome to Lake Louise. You'll be captivated by the brilliant turquoise water, with the majestic Victoria Glacier as a stunning backdrop. For an easy-going experience, take a leisurely stroll along the paved, flat shoreline path right from the main viewing area. If you're up for more of a walk, the trail continues to the end of the lake, offering different perspectives of the chateau and the surrounding peaks. For the more adventurous, numerous hiking trails of varying difficulty start from the lakeshore, leading to incredible viewpoints and even charming tea houses nestled in the mountains.
Parking is available for a fee at Lake Louise or you can take a shuttle via Parks Canada. Parking fills up quickly. Either way you will need a Parks Pass.
