The Canadian Rockies Ultimate Road Trip

I've spent the past few years spending months at a time in the Canadian Rockies living in my van. I might be biased but I think the best way to experience the Rockies is by van or RV. I've included spots that range in difficulty from hard hikes to walkable viewpoints and also included some campgrounds you should have saved at all times!

Visiting the Rockies does require a good bit of planning. If you're looking to stay overnight in the backcountry, have specific needs for your overnight accommodations, a little preparedness goes a long way. RVs requiring electrical hookups have plenty of options for campgrounds however they do book up quickly. If you're a planner, this guide will help you! If you're making a last minute trip, I recommend finding whatever is available campground wise in the area and discovering fun activities near there. If you love winging it, this guide will help you!

Feel free to reach out with any specific questions. Happy to help.
