We stayed at the Pine Cabin and it was an ABSOLUTE DREAM!!! These cabins are dog-friendly for an extra cost, and you can also have the wood-fired hot tub heated and ready for you when you get there for an extra cost as well! The cabins sleep several people, which makes them great for a group, and I would love to head back in the summer to explore around the lake and go swimming!
The cabins have a great variety of board games and books to help you fully relax and get into the cosy cabin spirit! We played Snakes and Ladders, cards, read some books and ate delicious cheese, chocolate and Yukon beer! The cabins are out of service, which is perfect if you're wanting to fully escape and immerse yourself in the cabin lifestyle!
We decided to light the fire for the hot tub right when we arrived at 3 p,m and it was ready to go for an after-dinner soak :) The wood-fired hot tubs are super unique, and I don't think many (if any) other places to stay in the Yukon offer them! It was honestly so relaxing that we decided once we buy a house that we will be buying one, that's how nice it was!
There are complimentary kick-sledges you can use in the winter, and GUYS, THEY'RE SO FUN! We kicksledded along the lake on our trip, and it is way harder than it looks! Such a unique and fun way to get some exercise in while exploring this beautiful area of the Yukon!
The lodge is right across the highway from White Mountain, which is one of my favourite hikes in the Yukon!!! (Make sure to check out that hike in this guide).
