Bushrangers Bay Park in Mornington Peninsula National Park is one of my top spots in Victoria, it’s like stepping into a coastal wonderland where nature’s showing off big time. From the car park, it’s a 2.6-kilometer walk that’s super scenic and easy to follow. I had never seen one in the wild and while in Mornington Penisula I ended up seeing about 5 or 6 but the one on this trail was so friendly and in absolutely no rush to run away from me. It just chilled and nose dugg for ants and posed for my pictures it was so adorable. This one was particularly friendly, casually digging for ants and posing for my photos, it was simply magical.

When you finally hit the beach, take a moment to soak it all in before heading over to the rock pools. Depending on the tide, you can explore these cool rock pools surrounded by dramatic cliffs and clear waters. The rock pools are packed with colorful starfish and sometimes even sea urchins, making it a fun spot to check out marine life. After you’re done exploring, chill on the sandy beach and enjoy the calming waves. And don’t forget the cliff views, they’re epic for photos and make this place a total Instagram gem.
