Voted Australia's Best Beach multiple times, it's nestled within Cape Le Grand National Park, boasting pristine white sands and glistening turquoise waters that truly showcase the bluest shades I've ever seen. The sand here was officially tested in 2017 and confirmed to be the whitest in Australia, adding to its allure.

One of Lucky Bay's unique charms is its friendly kangaroos, often seen hopping along the shore, creating an iconic Australian scene. I made two visits myself, one early in the morning hoping to catch a glimpse of these adorable creatures on the beach, but unfortunately missed them both times.

Another feature that sets Lucky Bay apart is its accessibility, vehicles, including 2WDs, are permitted on the firm, safe sands, a rare opportunity in Australia. Despite my initial nerves about driving my 2WD van on sand without recovery equipment, Lucky Bay was the one beach where I felt completely confident and had a great time exploring.
