If you want to feel like a mysterious detective in a noir film (but with much better drinks), you have to go here. Located in the Gothic Quarter, this spot is named after the detective Philip Marlowe, and it is a total vibe shift from the chaotic streets outside.

It is elegant, intimate, and the cocktails are award-winning. I love coming here when I want to escape the noise and just sip something incredibly complex while pretending I have secrets to keep.
