Message from Chris Burkard

Geysir is a geothermal area located in the Haukadalur valley in southwestern Iceland. It is home to the famous Great Geysir, which is the first geyser ever to be described in a printed source and the oldest known geyser in the world. The area is also home to numerous other hot springs and bubbling mud pools, as well as the Strokkur geyser, which erupts every 5-10 minutes.
