Princes Pier is a historic 580-meter-long pier located in Port Melbourne. Originally known as the New Railway Pier, it was renamed after a visit by the Prince of Wales in 1920. Constructed between 1912 and 1915, the pier served as a major arrival point for migrants until 1969. Today it's frequented by roller skaters, skateboarders and tonnes of fisherman, this area is bursting with life during the day and would be a killer place at sunrise or sunset!
