Reach Grímsey by a scenic three-hour ferry from Dalvík. Once on the island, you can hike to the Arctic Circle monument, a giant sphere that moves each year with the shifting circle. The island is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with puffins nesting on the dramatic cliffs.
