Overview
Kaiyukan is one of the largest aquariums in the world, located in Osaka Bay. It opened in 1990 and is famous for its massive central tank that houses a whale shark—the world’s biggest fish. The aquarium is built around the concept of the “Ring of Fire,” showing marine life from the Pacific Ocean. It’s especially popular on weekends and during holidays.
