Look out for the two Italian war statues who have been keeping watch over Casa Bettoni since 1856. They are known to represent esteemed members of the Bersaglieri battalion, which were a troop of marksmen in the Italian Army’s infantry corps and acted as a symbol of the quest to unite Italy (known as the Risorgimento) in the 19th century.
